Data collected by C2ER, the Council for Community and Economic Research, compares cost of living variables for cities across the Country. C2ER generally shows that the Yakima Valley’s costs of living are very favorable compared to other West Coast cities. Below is a cost of living table comparing Yakima’s Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) to various Northwest and West Coast MSA’s. Yakima’s MSA encompasses the entire county. Most other MSA’s encompass the city’s limits only.
